The Datascope/Mindray Passport V Monitor has a 12.1 inch color display. This monitor uses a trim knob for navigation. The unit receives patient data from its internal parameter block and displays the parameters on the screen. The Passport V is equipped with a battery. It has the ability to display 3 to 8 waveforms at a time and provides the option to choose between Masimo or Nellcor SPO2. There is a wide variety of parameter options including dual invasive blood pressures, internal recorder option, and Sidestream CO2. The Passport V monitor has up to 96 hours of trend data storage. Typically battery power life is 4.5 hours. Common issues on these monitors are NIBP pump failures, parameter issues, RT clock replacement, and SPO2 problems.
