The pump can be customized in the field for specific applications, offering a choice of four delivery modes: Body Weight Mode, Mass Mode, Continuous Mode, and Volume over Time Mode (dose volume/delivery time). Additionally, the pump can store up to 64 user regimens/protocols, allowing programmed boluses to be adjusted or administered at any time during drug delivery.

The Medfusion 2010 syringe pump is a portable device that operates on either AC current or rechargeable internal batteries. It is compatible with a wide range of syringe brands and sizes, automatically sensing the syringe size.
